Today I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to Firefox 3.
I’d been sticking with the last “2-point-whatever” version because I remembered hearing some people say that FF3 wasn’t working so well for them. Applets wouldn’t work, or pages wouldn’t show up right, or widgets wouldn’t do what they were supposed to do.
So I was leery.
Each time I got one of those pop up reminders to update, I clicked out of it, telling myself I’d wait “just a little longer.”
Today I decided I might as well just go ahead and get it over with.
And…. so far so good.
(Insert semi-relieved exhale here).
Have any of YOU had trouble with Firefox 3 so far?

Nope FFox3 works just fine for me – I updated the first day it was available. What I don’t like about it is when I start typing in the navigation bar, a drop down menu shows up with suggestions. I HATE THAT. If I want suggestions I’ll go to Google search, otherwise, I know what I’m typing in. I don’t need some stupid browser or computer to do my thinking for me. (Here endeth today’s rant)

But, it seems to crash a lot, especially when you’ve got too many tabs going at once. It usually happens when I’m dropping ECards, I think that it just can’t handle all those scripts loading at once.

But I think it’s kinda like going from XP to Vista…just takes some getting used to but then you will love it as much, if not more, than you did the version before.

I think 3 is the only version I’ve used and it works great.
But I like the idea of fire-ier and foxier. I want to be those.
