Photo Hunters: Messy

Today’s theme is “Messy.”
May I present to you my driveway, covered in snow, freshly plowed but still looking messy.
snow-plowed1
I love winter.
No, really, I do.
I love being chilly.
I hate summer.
I despise sweating.
I’d be miserable if I had to live in a tropical climate.
So this kind of thing really doesn’t bother me.
It can be inconvenient, as far as driving conditions go, but other than that, I love it.
Lay it on me, baby.

I soooooo do NOT envy your weather. Although it might surprise you to know that our night time temps were in the low 30s, and today’s high is around 49.

snow in the melting stage really is messy! It’s good that you like it. I like milder climates myself and I really like to have 4 seasons. Thanks for your comment on my blog. The round globe looking thing hanging in my daughters room is a flowered lantern…
    Have a wonderful New Year…

DesertSongbird: Wow, it surprises me that it could get that cool out there. I think of it as being a desert, up in the 80′s and 90′s (and worse) all the time. Glad to hear you do occasionally get some respite!

    Carver: I agree!

Napaboaniya: Yikes! i can barely stand having summer for three months!

Ellen: On, we definitely have four seasons here in Michigan. I love the cooler ones best. :)

Yesterday’s snow was topped off with freezing rain, and then rain, and everything was slushy here in SW Michigan… then overnight it went down to 25 degrees = now everything is crunchy.
Frozen chunks of slush can be ouchy to walk on, and even worse to fall on!

Ours gets pretty messy as well. Right now it is a mess because of the rain–though in a few days it will be covered with snow and ice instead.

I also prefer cold to hot. I don’t know how I’d do in that kind of snow. I guess I’d adjust.

Trinity: Oh, it can definitely be messy!

DanielCTW: You probably wouldn’t have to shovel EVERY day, but maybe one or two times a week.

SargeCharlie: See, now don’t you feel left out? :)

Huey: I can’t imagine living in a place with no snow. I enjoy it too much here!

EverydayHealy: Has it EVER snowed in Malaysia? I wonder…

MaryTheTeach: Get someone else to do it for you!

Morgen: That’s the only thing I don’t like about winter; slipping and falling on the ice, or driving in the ice. I’ve fallen before and have gotten hurt. Not very fond of that. But I still love winter!

Heather: Drink plenty of hot chocolate!

Lorian: Oh, of COURSE it’s worth it. I LOVE winter.

Travis: I have faith in you. You could learn to love it. :)

In Africa we don’t experience snow. We only experience harmattan; a season where the weather will be dried as well as your skin. This happen mostly in Ghana. Best wishes for the year 2008.
