Manic Monday: Orange

Y’know that orange Tang drink powder?
When I was a kid I used to sprinkle it on vanilla ice cream.
It was really good. Tasted kinda like a creamsicle.
The more I think about it, the more I want to try it again. Also, sometimes I see a flavor of ice cream in the stores called “Orange Pineapple”, and it sounds delicious. I always want to get some, but for some reason I haven’t done it yet.

If I can find some this week, I promise to try it and blog about it!

And of course there’s my obsession with chocolate-orange flavors, which I blogged about today on Jantrails.

Even a little sprinkling of orange zest can bring a lot of flavor to a recipe.
And it’s definitely one of my favorite scents. I love citrusy smells. Orange, Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit… all wonderful!

When I was a kid, the cream sicle with the orange popsicle on the outside always made getting to the vanilla so much fun.
