Jantics

I know I’m old when I hear myself saying things like “I remember when gas was only 55 cents a gallon,” or “Candy bars used to cost only a quarter.”
I know, I’m “only” 37.
Anyway, I also remember when commercials were more fun than most of what’s on TV these days. Oh, we get a few funny commercials around SuperBowl time, but other than that, the well is pretty dry.
If I had the proper equipment and connections, I could try making my OWN commercials for various things, and then send them to the companies myself. No doubt they would watch them and be filled with a burning question in their hearts…
That question, of course, would be “Who the heck is this Janna person, and why is she sending us strange stuff in the mail?”
A follow-up question might be “And why did she also send us a half-eaten turkey sandwich?”
(Answer: Because turkey is good for you and I enjoy sharing.)
