These days I think it’s harder than ever to raise children.
There are the “terrible twos”, and then there are the “terrible teens.”
Really. I don’t know how parents do it. I couldn’t handle it.
I’d need help keeping the toddlers from eating drain cleaner and paint chips, then a few years down the road I’d certainly need a lot of teen help as well.
I respect anyone who can effectively parent, providing the necessary discipline. A well-behaved, well-adjusted child is so rare these days.  And a properly disciplined child is rare these days, since there are too many parents who think spankings are the same thing as child abuse.
Kudos to you parents out there who are taking the time to do it right.
