If only they made Granddaughter Clocks….

When I was growing up, I spent a lot of time at my grandparents’ house while mom was at work.
I remember there was a big gorgeous grandfather clock in the living room, which would belt out a nice loud chime every 15 minutes.
I really loved that clock, but my grandmother hated it because she didn’t like winding it and she thought it was too loud.
Here’s something I just realized about my home… and this may sound weird but I swear it’s true. There are no clocks on any of the walls. I used to have one on a wall in the living room but it broke and had to be thrown out. (It was cheap, no big loss). But I never replaced it.
Usually if I want to know what time it is, I’m either sitting at the computer (in which case I look at the corner of the computer screen) or in bed (in which case I look at my alarm clock).
I feel like a freak now…. I think I should go find SOME kind of clock and stick it on a wall somewhere, just so I can feel slightly more normal.
Slightly.
