My computer is old. In fact, it’s downright ancient, and one of these days it’s going to breathe its last breath.
When that happens, I’ll probably really wish I had backed up my files.
Right now, none of them are backed up.
Scary, huh?
I need to find a way of doing this. I don’t have a re-writable CD-rom, and most of the important files are too large to fit on a floppy disk.
I could look into some online storage, maybe.
Something help me save all these graphics files, WAV files, music composition files, and all the other stuff I’d be devastated to lose.
If you hear a loud distraught scream coming from Michigan, you’ll know I missed my chance.

A USB hard drive is your friend. No weird backup services or programs, just copy the files from one disk to another using Windows. I bought one about 3 months ago and now have all my music, photos and various ‘things I must keep’ in a safe place.
