Here is proof that I’m not the most technologically advanced person on the globe.
Over the weekend Lee and Morgen gave me their VCR and a bunch of videotapes (they’re DVD people now).
I have no idea how to hook up a VCR.
Honest.
They’re almost obsolete, and yet I never learned how exactly all those wires and cables and connections work. Not a clue.
Technology is passing me by, even as I speak.
When I got my computer from Gateway a few years ago, I actually DID hook it all up by myself. This still surprises me. I attribute it to the fact that Gateway included VERY easy directions in their big cow-print box. Somehow I managed to do it all right, and have been a computer/internet addict ever since.
Now if I could only figure out the VCR.
I never really understood record players either.
Or eight-tracks.
And would someone please explain to me how an abacus works?

Or at least somewhere in your backseat…
Mo: I brought it in from the car, now it’s in the living room, approximately 20 feet from the TV. Baby steps…
